as you can see my hair is just a dark brown right now, i want to add something to it i just dont know what.
any suggestion?
im not really looking for a haircut just color.

so i've been growing out my hair since february and i decided that i need change because it's too long for it's own good. it's about waist length right now and i'm planning on cutting about 4, maybe 5 inches off so that it's still somewhat long but still noticeably shorter. i was thinking something choppy all over? because my hair is kinda thick and drastic/edgy as well. i want to play with different lengths so that it's part short/long. but, if you guys have any suggestions, do tell. =)

oh look, i'm actually wearing makeup too, haha.
i'm getting the rest of my hair cut/dyed tomorrow, but i cut my bangs myself last night because i don't entirely trust my stylist with them.  for color, i'm thinking a lightish neutral blonde.  whatcha think? :)

I don't think i've ever posted here, though i've certainly been lurking for the past 5 years. anyways, i used to have really short hair that i straightened every day when i was a freshman-sophomore, but i've been growing it out since my junior year. i graduated in 08, and my hair has since become disgustingly long and i think i want a change.

my hair is really thin, and gets wavy when it's long. when it's short, it doesn't get wavy really, it just does this awkward flip on the ends. i don't want the lame hair i had when i was 15 anymore, but i do want short hair again, and suggestions from strangers would be greatly appreciated.

and so its not text only, i changed my red strip to blonde! its still a bit yellow, lightened it a million times and toned it but that red did not want to lift out!!!!

HELP!

So, back in April I shaved my head. I haven't had a real cut since then- only trims- and I'm getting pretty dang sick of it. I'm thinking of doing extentions, but I feel like my hair might be too short for them to look good. I'm trying to groooooooooow it, so I don't want any cuts that will take a ton of length away, just something to keep me happy until it's long. What do y'all think I should do?

I got rid of that and have used a couple of dark brown shades over it a few times during the year.
But yeah, I'm bored.

now that everybody and their mom want this hair, i figured id post a few pix of mine.
I've had it for a while and love it, and im not one of those people to be like "oh noes everyone else is doing it i gotta grow it out!"
i just think its a funny trend. be careful ladies, id hate for you to shaved the side of your head for trend and then hate it.

I'm looking for opinions on the best way to help keep my hair vibrant. It's currently red and after a few weeks, it's already faded quite a bit.

i know a lot of you are going to say downgrade because of the color change, but your responses will help me to decide when i'm going to go back to red and dye the blonde TRUE RED, because i'm sure i'll be bored with this in a matter of weeks, and i do miss my red. XD

Hey, so I'm really bored with my hair. I look in the mirror and go, "okay..." and that's all. I want to look in the mirror and go, "yeah! woo! my hair!"

It has turned into this warm dark brown color which I am just okay with. Not thrilled or disappointed. Just okay.

Well i have blonde highlights on my medium brown hair, and i went to the stylist to get my roots done and now i have like little pieces of red on when it used to be brown hair and a little on the blonde (on my bangs)?
What can i do to fix this? i have no pictures right now sorry :(

I've been growing my hair out for about a year now and I'm just now starting to get sick of it. it's taking way too lng to blowdry and style. and im just getting super bored with it. i also cant seem to get it to grow past the point it's at now (no matter how healthy i try to keep it/trimming off dead ends when needed.) i think my hair just doesnt want to grow much more. it always has a mind of it's own.

I must finally confess that I need hair halp.

I've had every colour under the sun in the past ten or so years. But I seem to lack much creativity when it comes to a cut that actually works for me - this is mostly in part because I feel like the shape of my face (aka a circle) doesn't really have a suitable style, in my case at least.

So here's part of a hair history just to show the different things I've had.

I hope someone can help/make some reccomendations cause I'm at my wits end with what I can do. Ideally I want to keep a fair amount of the length but liven it up a little? And while I miss being blonde (because it dried it out enough I didn't have to wash it every freaking day) I'm not sure if I can pull it off at all. Also I'm fairly sure I have to have a fringe, but I have no idea how long/what side/ how heavy etc.

 My friend isn't sure what to do with hair hair once it fades and her roots start coming in, I'm not sure if I should bleach mine before coloring it.
